Mardi Gras

It was another successful year in Church Point, LA, celebrating Mardi Gras with Les Malfecteurs. Despite the frigid weather, the the Cajun organization, their accompanying band, and supportive neighbors all came out energized to celebrate the tradition.

Setting out at 8am to traverse the homes of Church Point, LA by way of tractors and floats, the members created another year of memories filled with singing, dancing and the occasional chicken run well into the evening.

Between the fun, the hard work of organizing, costuming, and mobilizing didn’t go unnoticed, as the riders, bands, and supporters prepared for the arctic air in an effort to carry on Cajun heritage.
